Every Voter Deserves Access

This campaign believes every resident of District 6 — including older voters, voters with low vision, and voters using assistive technology — should be able to use this website easily. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we've done

• Large, readable base text (18px) and generous line spacing throughout.
• Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
• Keyboard navigability, a skip-to-content link, and clearly visible focus outlines.
• Strong color contrast between text and backgrounds.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
• Form fields with visible labels and comfortable touch targets (48px minimum).
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
